Medical Education Manager (Coronary)

Accountabilities: Develop, plan, and execute healthcare professional education programs, identifying learning needs and creating formats that address customer and business objectives. Build and maintain productive relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders across interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and related disciplines. Design educational objectives, curricula, agendas, and content for both CME and non-CME programs. Coordinate and support symposia, virtual events, and conference programs, including agenda development, content preparation, physician speaker coaching, and execution. Coach physician speakers in the development and delivery of scientific communications and podium presentations. Manage speaker onboarding and contracting, program documentation, compliance approvals, slide decks, and speaker-program processes. Partner with meeting planners to coordinate logistics and ensure seamless execution of educational events. Consult with field teams to identify healthcare professional learning needs and translate them into effective educational solutions. Collaborate with medical societies and fellowship programs to expand educational initiatives and professional relationships. Maintain current knowledge of relevant therapies, scientific literature, products, and developments within the cardiovascular field. Develop and manage annual budgets while maintaining appropriate financial controls. Contribute to annual needs assessments and ensure education activities meet applicable compliance, documentation, and reporting standards. Support continuous improvement of medical education processes, tools, and speaker-management systems. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred. 6+ years of experience in education, training, sales, marketing, or a related function within the medical technology industry. Prior experience in the cardiovascular or coronary healthcare space is strongly preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, influencing, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams. Adaptability and sound judgment, with a willingness to make decisions and take ownership of outcomes. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills across technical, clinical, commercial, and leadership audiences. Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint. Previous experience with CVENT and/or Salesforce is a plus. Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% within the United States and potentially internationally. Base salary range of $109,000–$174,800 for the broader U.S. market and $125,000–$201,250 for the Bay Area, depending on location, qualifications, experience, and other applicable factors. Eligibility for a long-term incentive program, subject to applicable plan terms.
