Lead Accountant

Accountabilities: Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, eliminations, accruals, prepaids, inventory, allocations, and internal software capitalization. Manage intercompany accounting activities, including transactions, subsidiary funding requests, and related compliance requirements across international entities. Review account reconciliations and accounting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. Support treasury activities and collaborate on cash and funding-related accounting requirements. Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation and respond to internal and external audit requests. Support financial reporting and statutory compliance activities across multiple entities. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and automate repetitive or manual activities. Partner with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve accounting issues. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and provide accounting insights to support business and finance decisions. Independently manage accounting projects and complex issues while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness. Requirements 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a fast-growing technology, SaaS, or multinational organization. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or an equivalent certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial close processes, intercompany accounting, consolidations, and statutory compliance. Demonstrated experience managing complex reconciliations, audit requests, and accounting documentation across multiple entities. Strong understanding of international or multi-entity accounting environments. Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of financial data. Experience with global ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar systems is valuable. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment when addressing complex accounting matters. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build consensus across teams. A continuous-improvement mindset and demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
