Accountabilities:: Design, develop, and implement advanced Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI solutions to automate and optimize legal processes. Architect and deploy Large Language Model (LLM) applications for the analysis, interpretation, summarization, and generation of legal documents. Build intelligent data extraction, classification, and consolidation solutions for contracts, legal filings, opinions, and other legal documentation. Develop automated Due Diligence applications to assess legal and business risks, evaluate compliance, and identify inconsistencies across documents. Design and implement AI-powered solutions to support litigation management, case analysis, procedural monitoring, and tracking of legal obligations. Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures to enable accurate, context-aware queries across large legal document repositories. Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques and LLM orchestration frameworks to improve the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of AI-generated outputs. Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications and systems through APIs and microservices. Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Governance, and Technology teams to identify business needs and translate them into innovative AI-driven solutions. Ensure the security, traceability, privacy, and regulatory compliance of AI applications, following applicable regulations, LGPD requirements, and internal data governance policies. Implement MLOps practices to support model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and continuous improvement. Monitor and optimize AI model performance, accuracy, scalability, and reliability in production environments. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and methodologies to continuously improve existing solutions and drive technological innovation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Computational Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computing, or a related field. Advanced programming skills in Python, with experience developing and deploying production-ready AI solutions. Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques and their practical applications. Advanced understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI technologies. Hands-on experience designing, developing, and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), including GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, or equivalent models. Practical experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and/or LangGraph. Strong expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, including document retrieval, context optimization, and semantic search. Experience with prompt engineering techniques to optimize LLM performance and output quality. Knowledge of MLOps practices, including AI model deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management. Experience developing and integrating APIs and microservices for scalable AI applications. Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search platforms such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, and Azure AI Search. Experience working with enterprise AI platforms, including Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex business requirements into effective AI architectures and technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly when working with multidisciplinary teams and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to have: Experience with intelligent extraction and structuring of contractual data. Previous involvement in automated contract analysis and legal document review solutions. Experience developing AI-powered Due Diligence applications. Knowledge of litigation management automation and legal workflow optimization. Familiarity with compliance frameworks, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and Data Governance practices. Previous experience with Legal Tech platforms, tools, or enterprise legal automation solutions. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft AI-102: Azure AI Engineer Associate. Microsoft DP-100: Azure Data Scientist Associate. Microsoft AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
