Drywall and Ceiling Estimator

Accountabilities:: Prepare competitive bids and detailed quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects. Estimate drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finishing scopes accurately. Review project drawings, specifications, and scope requirements to identify quantities, materials, labor, and potential gaps. Process Requests for Information (RFIs) and provide clear, accurate responses as part of the estimating and pre-construction process. Coordinate with subcontractors and conduct vendor outreach to gather pricing, availability, and project information. Support pre-construction activities and contribute to accurate project planning and cost development. Work closely with project stakeholders and integrate into established workflows through proactive and responsive remote communication. Manage an expected workload of approximately 15–20 estimates per month, adjusting output based on project complexity. Maintain a high standard of accuracy and organization while meeting deadlines and monthly estimating targets. Requirements: At least 3 years of professional estimating experience, with more extensive experience preferred for senior-level candidates. Proven expertise in commercial construction estimating, particularly drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finishes. Strong understanding of commercial construction drawings, specifications, quantities, materials, and estimating processes. Experience working with U.S.-based construction projects or clients is strongly preferred. Proficiency with construction estimating software such as OST, Quick Bid, or comparable tools. Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Strong attention to detail, organization, judgment, and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage a full-time workload with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to meet estimate deadlines and monthly production targets while maintaining quality. A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent combination of estimating experience and practical construction knowledge is preferred. Previous remote experience working within integrated client workflows is an advantage. Benefits: Fully remote position available to candidates in Latin America. Full-time Monday-to-Friday schedule.
