Construction Estimator, AMER Estimating and Cost Control

Our Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) organization builds and scales the infrastructure that powers Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures - Knowledge of electrical engineering principles including switchgear, UPS, transformers, and circuit breakers - Experience interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings - 5+ years of experience in electrical construction cost estimating for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects - Demonstrated experience with detailed electrical quantity takeoff and pricing from one-lines, panel schedules, and specifications - Proficiency with estimating tools (e.g., Accubid, Trimble/McCormick, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, RSMeans, or equivalent) Preferred: - 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience - Knowledge of critical data center equipment - Experience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure - Experience working in international cross-functional teams - Experience with electrical BOD estimating and $/MW parametric modeling - Experience with conceptual electrical estimating at early design stages when detailed drawings are not yet available Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
