Staff Software Engineer, Endpoint Security (macOS/Windows Internals, Python)

As a Staff Endpoint Software Engineer, you'll design and build the low-level security sensors and enforcement engines that sit at the heart of our Generative AI Security platform — running deep inside endpoints, browsers, and production workloads to detect and stop threats in real time. You'll own critical architecture decisions, work hands-on with OS internals (kernel-level hooks, system calls, process/network monitoring), and set the technical bar for how we build secure, lightweight agents at scale. This is a high-ownership role for engineers who love working close to the metal and want their code protecting real enterprise environments from day one.

What Will You Do?

• Architect and continuously optimize sensor components for minimal system footprint, high performance, low resource consumption, and maximum reliability.
• Drive the technical evolution of our AI Security Posture Management (Agentic) engine — designing adaptive policy logic, improving decision engines, and expanding platform coverage.
• Build and own endpoint security solutions (macOS & Windows), integrating deeply with OS-level APIs for real-time threat detection and data protection.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineers on best practices for building secure, high-performance, low-level system components.
• Partner closely with security researchers, QA, and product teams to translate emerging threats into shipped protection.
• Stay ahead of the latest developments in Generative AI security and OS-level threats, bringing new techniques into our agents and extensions.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

• 6+ years of experience in Python, Node.js, or a comparable language, with deep hands-on work at the OS/systems level
• Strong experience with macOS and/or Windows Endpoint Security frameworks (e.g., EndpointSecurity.framework, ETW, minifilter/kernel drivers)
• Deep understanding of OS architecture and internals (processes, system calls, memory, file system, networking stack)
• Track record of owning complex, low-level systems from design through production at scale
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical judgment, and attention to detail
• Experience with browser extension development (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) — Advantage
