Senior Order and Billing Operations Analyst

As a Senior Order and Billing Operations Analyst, you will be tasked with managing the end-to-end billing process, from processing sales orders and invoicing to resolving billing inquiries and supporting collections. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure billing accuracy, support audit and reconciliation efforts, and contribute to system and process improvements as we scale. This position reports to the Billing Operations Manager at SentinelOne.

This is a hybrid position based out of the SentinelOne office in Heredia, Costa Rica.

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include:

• Process sales orders into the billing system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Interface with channel partners to gather purchase orders and support credit consumption invoicing.
• Invoice customers with a focus on timeliness, completeness, and accuracy.
• Respond promptly and professionally to account, invoice, and billing inquiries from customers, channel partners, and internal Customer Success teams, and resolve invoice-related questions and disputes.
• Support collections operations, including reaching out to partners with past-due accounts, as needed.
• Participate in system and process optimization projects to help scale operations.
• Field audit requests as appropriate.
• Perform account reconciliations of bookings and billings.
• Interface with partners, management, and team members to review accounts and escalate issues as necessary.
• Calculate monthly MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) consumption data for billing purposes.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Experience with billing systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce, or similar software.
• Familiarity with subscription and overage usage billing practices in different geographies, including the US and globally.
• Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, US sales tax billing requirements.
• Strong professional communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to various stakeholders.
• Willingness to work Costa Rica time zone hours with some overlap to US West Coast hours for meetings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to resolve open questions to conclusion as a strong individual contributor.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks, set priorities, and meet tight deadlines to achieve collection targets.
• Proficiency in Excel, with working knowledge of formulas and pivot tables.
• Desire to leverage AI tools to automate routine tasks.
