Lifecycle Marketing Manager - (1-Year Contract)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lifecycle marketing program professional to lead the operational management, governance and continuous improvement of Payoneer’s global customer communications. 

The role will work closely with the Global Lifecycle Marketing team, Product, Product Marketing, Operations, Legal, Analytics, Creative and execution teams, and other stakeholders to own the end-to-end operating process for operational customer communications and customer-facing initiatives originating from various business stakeholders. The role will drive intake, prioritisation, planning, stakeholder alignment, governance, approvals, execution handover, performance visibility and process optimisation, ensuring communications are delivered with clarity, consistency and measurable customer and business impact. 

Responsible for: 

• Manage the end-to-end operating process for ad hoc, tactical and operational customer communications, from intake and planning through execution handover, launch readiness and post-campaign reporting. 

• Own the intake and triage of communication requests, ensuring briefs are complete, requirements are clear and requests comply with agreed lifecycle marketing processes and governance before entering the delivery pipeline. 

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define, scope and manage customer communication and campaign initiatives, translating business requirements into complete, actionable briefs and execution-ready plans, and coordinating activities through launch readiness to drive measurable customer and business outcomes. 

• Own the communications calendar and portfolio view, providing clear visibility into planned, active and upcoming customer communications, dependencies and capacity requirements. 

• Drive prioritisation and scheduling decisions based on business priorities, customer impact, contact strategy, risk, timelines and available capacity; resolve conflicts and escalate trade-offs where required. 

• Serve as the primary operational lead across Lifecycle Marketing, Product, Product Marketing, Legal, Operations, Analytics, Creative and execution teams to align requirements, ownership, approvals, dependencies and timelines. 

• Champion dependency and risk management across the communication lifecycle by identifying blockers, missing inputs and unresolved decisions and driving them to closure with the appropriate stakeholders. 

• Govern adherence to established lifecycle marketing standards, including segmentation, customer contact policies, naming conventions, approval requirements, documentation and quality controls. 

• Create and sustain operating mechanisms required to manage communications at scale, including trackers, templates, service expectations, process documentation, status reporting and stakeholder routines. 

• Drive campaign review and approval cadences, consolidating feedback, clarifying decisions and ensuring accountability for actions and timelines across stakeholders. 

• Lead the post-campaign reporting process in partnership with relevant teams, maintaining visibility into campaign performance and identifying trends, recurring issues and actionable operational insights. 

• Identify systemic process gaps, inefficiencies and operational risks, and lead practical improvements, standardisation and scalable ways of working across the lifecycle marketing operating model.  

You will bring: 

• 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing program management, campaign operations or a related discipline, with demonstrated ownership of complex cross-functional programs. 

• Strong program-management and operational leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, deadlines, dependencies and competing business requirements at scale. 

• Proven experience owning marketing intake processes, communication calendars, governance frameworks, campaign workflows or similar operating mechanisms. 

• A deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and the steps involved in planning and delivering customer communications, including segmentation, targeting, briefing, approvals, execution handover and reporting. 

• Experience managing and coordinating lifecycle marketing campaigns in partnership with business stakeholders, translating business goals into clear customer communication plans, execution requirements and measurable success criteria. 

• The ability to translate ambiguous or complex business requirements into clear, complete and actionable briefs, while challenging gaps and driving decisions where needed. 

• Strong attention to detail combined with the judgment to distinguish critical risks and dependencies from routine execution issues. 

• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority, clarify accountability, resolve ambiguity and escalate effectively when required. 

• A proven ability to strengthen processes, governance and ways of working, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, scalability and operational performance. 

• Ability to think strategically about lifecycle marketing operating models while remaining close enough to tactical delivery to anticipate risks and ensure effective execution. 

• Strong analytical and data-driven thinking, with the ability to interpret campaign performance, operational metrics and key trends to identify actionable insights and improvement opportunities. 

• Working knowledge of lifecycle communication and customer engagement platforms such as Braze, Segment or similar tools; hands-on campaign building expertise is not required. 

• Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with teams such as Marketing, Product, Operations, Analytics, Legal, Creative and Marketing Operations. 

Not a must but a great advantage: 

• Good understanding of the payments industry and its current evolution across the world 

• Small Business understanding and experience
