Director, Network Strategy & Analytics

Reporting to the SVP, Provider Operations, the Director of Network Strategy & Analytics will drive the strategy and analytical framework for growing and measuring the health of Spring Health and Alma’s combined network of 40,000+ providers. This role will ensure we have the right provider supply and capacity to accelerate growth while improving network efficiency and provider experience.

The Director will translate complex network data into clear strategy and action—determining where and how our network should grow, identifying opportunities to better utilize existing capacity, and building the forecasting and insights needed to make proactive network decisions.This is a full time hybrid position on our team with 3 days per week required in person at our New York HQ office. 

What you’ll do:

• Define where and how the network should grow, balancing new provider growth with better utilization of existing capacity.
• Own the frameworks and metrics used to assess network health, including supply-demand balance, capacity, utilization, retention, and provider satisfaction.
• Translate network insights into clear priorities and actions that improve growth, access, provider experience, and efficiency.
• Partner across Provider Operations, Product, Data, Clinical, Commercial, and other teams to execute against network priorities.
• Set the analytical agenda for Provider Operations, building the forecasting, reporting, and insights needed to anticipate network needs and make better decisions.
• Use AI and automation to accelerate analysis, reduce manual reporting, identify network opportunities, and increase the team’s capacity for strategic work.
• Partner with Data Science, BI, and Product to develop scalable analytical and predictive capabilities for managing the network.
• Lead and develop three Senior Business Analysts, setting clear priorities and raising the bar for analytical rigor and business impact.
• Build a team that proactively identifies opportunities and recommends action rather than simply responding to reporting requests.
• Create scalable ways of working that enable the team to support an increasingly large and complex provider network.

• Network growth: Achieve provider growth and capacity targets in the markets and segments where supply is most needed.
• Supply-demand health: Improve priority supply-demand, capacity, utilization, and access metrics.
• Network efficiency: Increase utilization of existing provider capacity and improve the efficiency of network growth.
• Provider experience: Maintain or improve provider retention and satisfaction.
• Analytics impact: Improve our ability to anticipate network needs and make faster, more proactive decisions through better forecasting, analytics, and AI-enabled insights.

What you’ll bring: 

• 8+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, operations, consulting, marketplace strategy, or a related field.
• Strong experience with supply-demand strategy, capacity planning, forecasting, or network/marketplace optimization.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategy, recommendations, and business decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing analytical talent.
• Strong AI fluency and demonstrated ability to use AI and automation to improve analytical workflows, insights, and team productivity.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools such as Looker.
• Healthcare, provider network, or other complex marketplace experience preferred.

The target base salary range for this position is $164,900 - $217,074, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
