Agency Lead

As an Agency Lead at MNTN, you'll lead the development and growth of high-value agency partnerships, helping agencies unlock growth for their clients through Connected TV. You'll own complex, full-cycle sales opportunities and serve as a trusted strategic advisor on how agencies plan, buy, and scale CTV across their client rosters.

You'll focus on winning scalable new agency partnerships and expanding MNTN's footprint within strategic agency accounts. You'll build programs around co-marketing, technology integration, enablement, and joint business planning, while developing a deep understanding of each agency's business, media strategy, and growth priorities. You'll provide a consultative, executive-level experience that earns trust with agency leadership and the client teams they represent. You'll work alongside a dedicated Agency Partner Manager in a shared-pod model, from commitment through onboarding and across the full agency lifecycle, jointly accountable for growing each agency's business on MNTN and expanding the partnership across its client roster. Together, you'll own a shared revenue target and help shape one of MNTN's fastest-growing partner segments.

What You'll Do

• Own complex, full-cycle sales opportunities across high-value agency prospects and strategic partnerships, building trusted relationships with senior agency leadership, media planners, and buyers that lead to multi-client activation and durable revenue growth.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified agency opportunities through strategic account planning, targeted prospecting, executive referrals, inbound demand, and industry events and conferences.
• Lead executive-level discovery and business planning conversations to understand an agency's client portfolio, commercial priorities, media planning process, and the role CTV can play in its broader growth strategy.
• Develop compelling, tailored platform demonstrations and business cases that address agency workflow needs, including multi-client management and reporting, while connecting MNTN's value to end-client performance goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on Connected TV, performance marketing, and how agencies can diversify beyond traditional channels and differentiate their offering to clients.
• Expand strategic agency partnerships by identifying and activating net-new brands and client teams within their roster, working alongside your Agency Partner Manager, who owns growth of brands already running.
• Partner closely with your Agency Partner Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure new agencies and their clients launch successfully, with scalable onboarding and growth plans across complex client portfolios.
• Navigate senior stakeholders, multiple buying centers, and longer decision cycles to establish MNTN as a repeatable, strategic media channel across an agency's client portfolio.
• Own rigorous forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, and CRM hygiene while leveraging AI, Salesforce, and modern sales tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Bring the voice of the agency to MNTN by sharing competitive intelligence, market trends, and partner feedback that influence the agency go-to-market strategy, product roadmap, and partner program.
• Mentor Agency AEs, share repeatable best practices, and raise the quality of prospecting, discovery, executive engagement, and deal strategy across the team.

• Expand MNTN's footprint within strategic agencies by activating new brands, client teams, offices, and practice areas across their portfolios.
• Deliver an executive-level, consultative experience that earns trust, creates measurable business value, and turns agency relationships into durable, multi-client partnerships.
• Partner seamlessly with your Agency Partner Manager and cross-functional stakeholders so agencies onboard, activate, and scale across their client base quickly.
• Improve team performance by contributing ideas, coaching, and best practices that strengthen MNTN's agency playbooks, partner enablement, and client experience.

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in a full-cycle closing role selling into or working within agencies—CTV, paid social, search, AdTech, MarTech, SaaS, or another consultative B2B environment—with meaningful experience leading large, strategic, or complex accounts.
• A consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets, winning new business, and expanding high-value agency or channel partnerships.
• Deep understanding of agency structures, economics, and how media planning and buying decisions are made across complex client rosters and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong strategic prospecting and account-planning skills, with the judgment to prioritize the opportunities, relationships, and actions most likely to create material growth.
• Executive presence and outstanding communication, storytelling, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build credibility from practitioner to C-suite.
• Experience using Salesforce, sales engagement platforms, AI tools, and other modern sales technology to manage complex opportunities and operate efficiently.
• Deep understanding of digital advertising, media buying, and direct-response performance marketing; agency-side experience is a strong plus.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate agency and client challenges into clear business cases, commercial value, and measurable outcomes.
• An analytical, data-driven operating style and the ability to manage a focused portfolio of high-value, high-complexity opportunities.
• A builder mindset and strong leadership instincts—comfortable operating with ambiguity, influencing cross-functional teams, mentoring peers, and helping shape a scaling partner program.
