Senior Employer Branding Specialist

Information about the position 

Our team’s mission is to align Vinted’s values, business goals, and Employer Value Proposition with our people’s real work experience. We translate Vinted’s truth into an inspiring story that attracts the right people, helps them grow, and instils them with pride.

You’ll take an active role in Employer Branding at Vinted, with a particular focus on attracting engineering and data science talent. You’ll be based in Amsterdam, where our data science team is growing, but your work will reach candidates around the world.

Vinted has become an ecosystem with vertically integrated shipping and payments. This requires us to adapt our EVP to three very distinct brands and even more diversified hiring needs. Your job is to turn that into creative campaigns and stories that make specific audiences want to work here.

Our next big focus is storytelling. Bringing the skills and challenges our teams face to life! What is a day in the life of a cybersecurity analyst? How does an anti-money laundering expert keep members’ wallets safe? What does it take to build the data science behind a marketplace used by millions? And what stories does each of our locations need?

Partnering with Talent Acquisition, engineering and data science leaders, People, Marketing, PR, Internal Comms, and Brand & Design, you’ll make sure those stories are told and that our presence is strong where we hire.

In this position, you’ll 

• Be the guardian of Vinted’s employer brand, ensuring consistency and visibility across all platforms, like LinkedIn and Instagram
• Strong brand-building skills, with a clear vision of global vs local branding differentiation
• Use your sound understanding of branding and our editorial guidelines to write clear and engaging copy for things such as blogs, advertising campaigns, employer branding assets, email campaigns, event materials, online company profiles, as well as our careers pages.
• Create bespoke or support partnership events such as meetups, webinars, and networking events
• Plan and run recruitment advertising, such as targeted LinkedIn campaigns and sponsorships with third-party publications and organisations, aimed at technical audiences.
• Define where our global employer brand ends and local adaptation begins, so each location can tell its story while staying consistent with Vinted’s.
• Shape our content calendar around hiring needs and our location strategy.
• Track what works, using results to sharpen the next activation, and share learnings with the wider Employer Branding team.

About you 

• Passionate about all things Employer Branding!
• You love storytelling: finding stories and having a keen eye for telling them in ways that stand out. You can show campaigns or activations you conceived and delivered.
• Background in building and nurturing online and offline communities, and delivering innovative events and social media campaigns.
• A clear view of global vs local branding, and experience working across markets.
• Adept at identifying new talent attraction channels, especially for engineering and data science audiences.
• Comfortable using data to set goals and judge what worked.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with strong stakeholder management, and to work confidently with engineering and data science leaders.
• Excited by change, a fast pace, and learning new ways of doing things.
• Excellent knowledge of social media and digital channels, including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, and Meta.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (English is Vinted’s official working language).

Workation policy

Better balance holidays with workdays by working remotely! Up to 90 days per year in the EU, of these, 21 days can be spent globally. For non-EU citizens, it's 21 days worldwide. This can be combined with time off for vacation or personal time.

Individual learning budget

Each year, you’ll be given a learning budget (starting at €3,000), and a total of up to 10 working days over a 2-year period to support your personal and professional development.

Hybrid work

Our hybrid model, with 2 recommended office days a week, gives you and your team the flexibility to decide if and when you want to work from home, and when to catch up in person.
