Few people get to build a bank from scratch. Even fewer get to build one at a moment when banking itself is being reinvented. The Dollar is the best product in the history of the world - there is infinite global demand. But International Fintechs and non-US banks are left with two unsatisfying options to access it: Either they build on legacy clearing banks that are slow and unreliable, or they interface with middleware providers that don’t move and hold the dollars directly, but themselves rely on underlying legacy banks. Augustus collapses this stack by combining two things: A real, national bank charter (in organization), and Marble, our proprietary core banking system, built around intelligence, made of code. We are regulated in Europe and live with Euro and Stablecoin clearing today. Now, we are building the US team from the ground up, while continuing to grow rapidly in Europe. The Role You’ll join our Talent team and help build the team that builds a bank. We’re scaling fast across Berlin, New York and Dallas, and every hire either raises or lowers the bar. You’ll own real parts of our hiring engine from day one. Like everyone at Augustus, you’ll run day-to-day work in parallel with one or two larger projects. What you’ll work on: Source and engage candidates across engineering, product, operations, compliance and sales. Coordinate interview processes and keep hiring managers and candidates moving. Build and automate our recruiting workflows with Ashby, n8n and AI, so we hire better without adding headcount. Own a larger project, like a new sourcing channel, our employer brand, or hiring analytics. You build your personal AI stack that optimizes your productivity and you treat new AI tools as defaults, not curiosities. You can build workflows in n8n/zapier/make. You are comfortable talking to senior leaders, hiring managers, and candidates from day one. You are genuinely excited about what we are building. This is not for you if: You only want to work on strategic projects. You see recruiting as admin work. You need to know exactly what you will be working on before you join. You are looking for a 9-5 role. Hard Requirements You are currently pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a stellar institution. You have 1-2 previous internships or roles in high-growth startups, venture capital, or consulting and/or you have demonstrated initiative through side projects, student organizations, research, or entrepreneurial experiences.
