This is the role where architecture meets impact. The Account Solutions Architect (SA) is the trusted technical advisor that customers rely on from first engagement through production and beyond - building Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - Bachelor's degree, or Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering) - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust - Experience working with customers on substantial, strategic, and complex software or cloud services/infrastructure deals from opportunity through closure - Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems, or experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers - Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients - Experience recognizing a challenge and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions Preferred: - Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience conducting in-depth analysis of issues at a selling partner or customer level and providing actionable recommendations - Experience transforming raw thoughts into clear technical documentation and/or direction. - Experience working cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, testing, and marketing - Experience with AI/ML technologies - technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Networking Engineering) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
