Sr. Estimating Manager, AMER Estimating and Cost Control

Our Data Center Planning and Delivery (DCPD) organization builds and scales the infrastructure that powers Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field - Experience in similar environments, or experience working with and managing third party vendors - Experience presenting to senior leadership - 8+ years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating, cost management, or quantity surveying in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction - Demonstrated experience as an estimating subject matter expert influencing standards and practices beyond a single project or team - Track record producing and validating construction cost estimates for large-scale, complex programs ($100M+ or mega-campus scale) - Proficiency with cost estimating tools and databases (e.g., RSMeans, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or equivalent) and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications across all disciplines (MEP, civil, structural, architectural) Preferred: - Experience in construction of data center delivery (design, commissioning and construction), mission critical facilities, or equivalent industrial/manufacturing facility builds - Experience establishing estimating methodologies, standards, or programs adopted across multiple cluster groups or teams - Experience with capital planning cycles, Cost Breakdown Structure evaluation, and Capital Budget Request cost inputs at portfolio scale - Experience with conceptual and BOD-level estimating, value engineering, and new-region cost intelligence - Track record reverse engineering awarded contracts and building portfolio-level pricing intelligence Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
