Sr. Applied Scientist, AWS Specialists and Partner Prototyping

Experimentation Basic qualifications: - PhD, or Master's degree and 5+ years of applied research experience - Experience in building machine learning models for business application - Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language - Experience using managed ML/AI solutions Preferred: - Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences - Experience working with Advanced Compute technologies including, but not limited to: Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT. - Experience with vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT or similar platforms in production environments, or experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution - Experience in developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU or other AI acceleration hardware, or experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing - Experience working with Robotics; training and deploying Vision Language Action (VLA) models, World Action models in simulation environments as well as real Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
