AWS Global Sales (AGS) drives adoption of the AWS Cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. Our team empowers every customer to grow by providing tailored service, Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures - Experience in a similar role such as technical account manager, consultant, solutions architect, platform engineer, systems engineer, cloud architect, or service delivery manager - Experience in specific technology domain areas like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics - 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems - Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams - Can create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components. - Able to create technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others. Preferred: - Knowledge of AWS services - Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud - Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS, or experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution - Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar - AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification, or Cloud Technology Certification - Able to present to technical and business audiences (training, workshops, publications) - 4 years’ experience as a Solution Architect or related role.
