Software Development Engineer, iOS

Basic qualifications: - 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or equivalent - Experience with agile development - 1+ years of experience in Objective-C or Swift - UI skills with knowledge of SwiftUI or UIKit - Experience in documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, continuous integration & deployment Preferred: - Working knowledge of dependency injection, operations/promises, and modular development - 1+ years of experience in designing and developing iOS Applications using Swift, Objective-C - Recent experience building enterprise-scale mobile applications - Experience building mobile UI with SwiftUI or UIKit, especially Auto Layout and related SDKs, including use of storyboard and animations - Background in caching with support for offline transactions - Competency in automation, enthusiasm for continuous integration/deployment or Chaos Engineering - Solid Coding practices including good design, unit testing, peer code reviews - Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, source code management & build processes - Exposure to backend development, or a willingness to contribute to backend services that power app features Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
