Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Architect to help design and deliver advanced cloud computing solutions to Canadian National Security & Defence (NSD) customers. Basic qualifications: - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience - 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - 3+ years of professional or military experience Preferred: - 3+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers - Experience in a technical role within a sales organization Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
