Across state and local government, the software that powers everyday public services is being rebuilt around generative AI and agentic systems. AWS is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) to help Independent Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - 5+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience, or AWS Professional level certification - Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation - Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage - Experience with designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies Preferred: - Experience working with enterprise software companies - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience - Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools (Kiro, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to scale your own technical output. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
