Senior Solutions Architect, Automotive & Manufacturing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Automotive and Manufacturing team is looking for an experienced and motivated technologist who possesses a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. As Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers - Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). - Working knowledge of at least two of the following domains: IoT/edge computing, data analytics/data lakes, AI/ML, HPC, DevOps/CI-CD, or application modernization. Preferred: - Experience with automation and any version control tools, or experience with web-based applications and HTTP and experience in any Bigdata architecture - Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts: digital twins, predictive maintenance, computer vision for quality inspection, and manufacturing execution systems.
