Senior Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Generative AI Innovation Center

The Generative AI Innovation Basic qualifications: - Experience with design, development, and optimization of generative AI solutions, algorithms, or technologies - 5+ years of professional software and systems development experience - Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team, or experience managing teams - Experience with one of the following areas: machine learning technologies, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP) or related applications - Japanese language proficiency and Business-level English communication skills Preferred: - 2+ years of experience in developing, deploying or optimizing ML models - 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field - Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution, or experience (non-internship) in professional software development Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
