Senior Financial Analyst , Amazon Logistics

Amazon seeks a detail-oriented Financial Analyst II to join our NA AMZL finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning 1-3 years out, executing the month-end close process, Basic qualifications: - 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience - 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience Preferred: - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - MBA, or CPA - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
