Senior Database Engineer, Amazon Redshift

Amazon Redshift is a rapidly growing, fast, fully managed, petabyte-scale data warehouse Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent - 10+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large datasets - Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment - Experience with large-scale data analytics and data warehousing Preferred: - Experience in software development, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in external enterprise customer-facing role as a technical lead, with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
