SAP Technical Solution Architect — ABAP, BTP, and BASIS, Accounting Transformation Group

Amazon is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Solution Architect to lead the architecture and engineering teams responsible for ABAP development, SAP Business Technology Platform, and SAP BASIS as part Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience - Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead, or experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large-scale systems - Deep expertise in one or more areas of ABAP development, SAP BTP, SAP BASIS, SAP integration, or SAP technical architecture. Preferred: - 10+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs - Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics - Experience with ABAP Cloud, Core Data Services, RESTful Application Programming Model, Fiori, SAPUI5, APIs, workflows, forms, and enhancement frameworks. - Experience with SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, SAP Build, Event Mesh, API Management, or related capabilities. - Experience with SAP BASIS and HANA administration, system landscapes, transports, upgrades, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, and operational support. - SAP technical, architecture, BTP, ABAP, BASIS, AWS, or comparable professional certification. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
