Regional Safety Manager , Data Center Health and Safety

This role owns the Health and Safety Basic qualifications: - Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization - Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders - Experience in a leadership role - Speak, write, and read fluently in German and English at C1 level or above - A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in accordance with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) in occupational safety, health and safety, engineering, or a related field. - Certification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit / SiFa) in accordance with Section 6 of the German Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) and DGUV Vorschrift 2. - Minimum 5 years of professional experience working within the German and/or European occupational health and safety regulatory environment. - In-depth knowledge of European and German occupational health and safety legislation. - Relevant experience leading a team of health and safety professionals. Preferred: - Experience leading organizational change initiatives across multiple locations - Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization - 10+ years of increasing responsibility in safety programmes in data centers, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, or equivalent operational environments. - NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent international qualification. - Experience with the Swedish Work Environment Act (Arbetsmiljölagen) and Arbetsmiljöverket regulatory framework. - Experience navigating the German Berufsgenossenschaft / DGUV system, including Unfallverhütungsvorschriften (accident prevention regulations). - Knowledge of ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems. - Experience with Betriebsrat (works council) co-determination processes on health and safety matters under the Betriebsverfassungsgesetz (BetrVG). - Experience in remote management of safety teams across multiple countries. - Strong strategic narrative writing skills, including QBR and operating plan inputs for Director and VP audiences. - Experience leading and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers, employees, and senior leaders. - High ethical standards with a proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information. - Experience defining, designing, and implementing safety programmes, processes, and procedural documentation at scale.
