Amazon seeks exceptional leaders for a strategic senior management position overseeing our data center operations. This executive role offers significant visibility within the organization and aligns with Basic qualifications: - Experience in technical work related to computer systems and technology components - 2+ years of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment experience, or experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies - 7+ years management experience in an operations, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, production, or distribution environment - 3+ years' experience implementing LEAN/6 Sigma methodology (continuous improvement, DMAIC/DVADV, 5 Whys, Root Cause analysis, etc.) Preferred: - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience with continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen, Lean, DMAIC, etc. - Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification - Safety, security, and availability of incident response, incident management, and incident resolution. - 7+ years' experience managing geographically dispersed teams - 7+ years of hands-on experience with mission critical infrastructure Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
