Amazon Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics - Central Support Team is currently looking for a Database Engineer position for it’s Hyderabad, India office to design, develop and manage the persistence solutions Basic qualifications: - Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 1+ Experience with RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Redshift and/or other RDBMS systems - Exposure to at least one procedural language such as Python, Ruby, Java, Perl Preferred: - Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems - Experience in AWS services - Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in software development and experience in managing and troublshooting network - Experience in supporting large-scale high-availability systems in a production environment.
