The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related science/technical fields - Experience in communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience - Experience with project management of technical projects in an Agile and/or iterative delivery environment - Experience in cloud-based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system - Cloud certification like AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Commitment to achieve within 6 months of hire Preferred: - Experience leading delivery of IT or cloud projects with external customers, including tracking schedule, scope, and financial outcomes against contract - Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate - Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision makers - Experience identifying, managing, and escalating project risks and issues in a timely manner - Experience with stakeholder analysis and managing relationships across diverse customer and internal groups - Familiarity with delivery frameworks such as Waterfall, Agile, ITIL, or the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
