Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Sales and Marketing

Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented commercial attorney to support Amazon Web Services, a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. Amazon Web Services is at the forefront Basic qualifications: - 2+ years of post bar admission legal experience - Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent - Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent - Can use AI for legal research, contract analysis, or document review experience Preferred: - Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent - Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines - Knowledge of government contracting laws, rules and regulations including, but not limited to, commercial items contracting requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) - Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention - Experience in Public Sector Law Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
