Department Overview The Computer-Aided Dispatch Center, a crucial component of cutting-edge group communication solutions, is chiefly responsible for effective dispatching. The responsibility of developing integrated dispatch solutions lies with the Astro Console Team, known for their Dispatch and Content Logging abilities. Their principal function involves facilitating audio communication between dispatchers and radio users within the public safety sector. This includes a diverse group of professionals, such as 911 call handlers, firefighters, police, military - essentially wherever real-time, reliable, secure communication is a priority. In addition, to elevate operator performance and efficiency, an array of features are available such as call logging, instant recording, and text communication. As part of a cross-functional Product Team, you will actively participate in the end-to-end development process, focusing on transforming and automating our engineering environments, enhanced by AI assistance. We are looking for an open, passionate candidate with a strong focus on applying cutting-edge AI tools to orchestrate dynamic infrastructure, streamline deployment workflows, and ensure robust system reliability. You will be a part of a team creating a dispatch console product for the modern operator. What will you be doing? AI-Driven SDLC Acceleration & Workflow Automation: Designing and implementing custom LLM-powered tools and AI agents to transform the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will automate routine tasks across software development, test automation, and CI/CD engineering—leveraging AI for intelligent log analysis, deployment pipeline optimization, test suite maintenance support, and automated environment troubleshooting. Workflow Orchestration: Build, maintain, and scale robust automated pipelines (using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions) to handle software builds, seamless deployments, and security scanning. Python-Based Validation: Design and implement intelligent scripts and quality checks in Python to automatically validate environment stability, API integrations, and overall application health. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Administer and scale infrastructure, dynamic environments, and source code repositories utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and IaC best practices. Release & Security Governance: Manage the release promotion process, ensuring high-quality, fully validated artifacts move seamlessly from Bitbucket to Artifactory and into production. Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between development, quality assurance, and operations, working closely with Scrum teams in Cracow and globally. Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation following the 'Documentation-as-Code' approach. Experience using Python and other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Groovy ) for system automation, workflow scripting, and building automated quality/validation checks. Experience in environment automation utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, or similar). Hands-on experience managing automated delivery pipelines and build tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Solid understanding of automated software delivery workflows, shift-left security, and dynamic execution environments. Experience with Version Control Systems and SCM tools, specifically the Atlassian stack (Bitbucket, Jira). Practical OS knowledge from both user and administrator perspectives (Linux or Windows). Strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical approach to complex technical problems. English language skills at a level allowing efficient daily technical communication. Will be a plus Practical experience in integrating AI APIs (LLM orchestration) or AI coding agents into engineering workflows. Solid understanding of AWS core services and ephemeral environment provisioning. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of Observability and monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana). Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and network services.
