Support Engineer – Nasdaq Market Surveillance

As a Support Engineer reporting to the AVP – Software Engineering, you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless client implementations, maintaining production systems, and delivering enhancements that strengthen market integrity and compliance. Key Responsibilities Partner with clients to support production and test environments, ensuring system stability and performance. Translate client needs into actionable solutions and contribute to ongoing product enhancements. Design, develop, and maintain software components and infrastructure to support scalability and efficiency. Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize system architecture for operational excellence. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across time zones to align on delivery objectives and client outcomes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven hands-on software engineering experience. Strong Linux expertise and experience in DevOps or programming roles. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Java (preferred), Python, Bash, or Shell. Clear communicator with experience in client-facing or collaborative, matrixed environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a client-facing or customer support engineering role. Background in finance, fintech, or exposure to regulated industries. Familiarity with working across global teams and cultural nuances in cross-border collaboration. This position will be located in Wrocław, Poland and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates. The pay range you see reflects the full salary band for this job level, including room for progression over time. The actual offer will depend on factors like your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will fall within a portion of the posted range that’s appropriate for this role.
