What You Will Do Design, develop, and verify components and subsystems for medical devices with minimal supervision. Translate user needs into design specifications and deliver system-level solutions. Lead prototyping and testing efforts to validate design performance. Identify and resolve complex design issues using data-driven analysis to improve processes and outcomes. Apply clinical knowledge to author design inputs and support Voice of Customer sessions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and mentor others in design control practices. Create and maintain engineering documentation, including Design History Files. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive projects from concept through launch. What You Will Need Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum four years of relevant engineering experience. Experience designing mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies. Proficiency in engineering drawing creation and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with risk management and quality systems in a regulated environment. Experience using Creo for 3D modeling, design development, and engineering documentation. $102,600 - $171,000 USD Annual Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
