Software Architect

Job Title Software Architect Job Description Job title: Software Architect I Design and deliver reliable healthcare software as a hands-on individual contributor, with end-to-end ownership of architecture and implementation. Your role: Own software features end to end - from requirements and architecture through development, testing, integration, and deployment. Work closely with Product Owners and Architects, and collaborate with the Scrum team to finalize user-story designs aligned with the overall architecture and product goals. Write and review code, resolve technical challenges, improve performance, and maintain software quality and clear architecture documentation. Support healthcare interoperability using standards such as DICOM and HL7, and share technical knowledge and best practices with the team. You’re the right fit if: Experience: You have 10+ years of experience in software development, design, and architecture, with a strong hands-on engineering background. Skills: You must have advanced C++ expertise, preferably C++20, with strong skills in design principles and patterns, multithreading, inter-process communication (IPC), and unit testing using frameworks such as Google Test. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent. Ways of working: You take end-to-end ownership as an individual contributor and collaborate effectively across teams. You are familiar with SDLC, Agile/SAFe, GitHub CI/CD, and AI-assisted development. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
