You will work on cutting-edge validation strategies to identify and resolve issues at the chip level, ensuring product specifications are met before physical implementation. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions that shape the future of computing technology. Business group This position is part of the Silicon and Platform Engineering Group, which focuses on developing innovative silicon and platform solutions to power Intel's technological advancements. The group plays a critical role in driving the design, development, and delivery of high-performance silicon platforms that meet the demands of hyper-scale computing. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute validation strategies to ensure that the SoC meets product specifications and functionality. - Collaborate closely with design teams and architects to identify and resolve issues in low-level Register Transfer Logic (RTL) designs. - Create specific test environments, methodologies, and plans to validate SoC designs, focusing on boundary conditions and edge cases. - Design and implement emulation models from RTL designs, including defining RTL changes for emulation purposes. - Test, debug, and optimize emulation models and hardware/software collateral for pre-silicon functional validation. - Develop new tools, capabilities, and automation flows to enhance the usability and efficiency of emulation models. - Provide guidance to validation teams to optimize their environments, test suites, and methodologies for emulation efficiency. - Partner with High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) teams to deliver validated patterns for silicon testing and support post-silicon debugging efforts. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in SoC validation gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training. - OR a Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and C++. - Familiarity with UNIX environments and RTL design principles. - Strong knowledge of validation methodologies and tools. Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated experience in RTL design integration, STA verification, and scripting automation using Python or Perl. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. - Enthusiasm for working on innovative projects that shape the future of computing technology.
