Title and Summary Senior Software Engineer (Database Developer) Job Description Summary Overview We are seeking a Software Engineer (Oracle Developer) to join our engineering organisation based in Pune. This role operates within a globally distributed delivery model, partnering closely with established onshore teams to deliver and maintain high-availability, mission-critical systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the ongoing evolution and stability of key payment platforms within a scaled Agile (SAFe) environment. Role The Software Engineer will be responsible for: • Agile Delivery (SAFe Framework): Working within an established Scrum team aligned to SAFe, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Distributed Team Collaboration: Collaborating closely with onshore engineering teams to deliver features, resolve defects, and ensure seamless integration across the delivery lifecycle. • Application Development & Maintenance: Designing, developing, and maintaining solutions across a multi-technology stack. • Production Support & Reliability: Supporting critical live systems, ensuring performance, resilience, and adherence to enterprise standards and controls. • Continuous Improvement: Contributing to engineering best practices, automation, and process enhancements to improve delivery efficiency and quality. All About You We are looking for a technically strong and collaborative Software Engineer who thrives in a complex, enterprise-scale environment.
