Senior Full Stack Java Developer – 6-9 Yrs of Experience – Pune Location About The Team As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative Supply Chain Finance solutions that enhance FIS’s financial services platform. You will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams. Success in this role requires strong full-stack development expertise, a passion for software craftsmanship, and the ability to deliver secure, high-quality solutions in an agile environment. You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements refinement to deployment and continuous improvement. What You Will Be Doing Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate. Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs that support business-critical financial workflows. Implement secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security. Create comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure application reliability. Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and test-driven development practices to deliver maintainable code. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems. Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop database-driven solutions utilizing SQL and PL/SQL for efficient data management and integration. Support containerized application deployments using Docker and contribute to modern DevOps practices. What you will bring 6 to 9 years of professional software development experience with Java-based enterprise applications. Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and Microservices Architecture. Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services and APIs. Proficiency in unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks. Strong knowledge of application security practices, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security. Experience with Maven, Docker, SQL/PLSQL, and messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ or similar platforms. Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and test-driven development. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a skills-based equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Agile software delivery environments. Knowledge of Azure cloud services and cloud-native application development. Experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and container orchestration technologies. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and source control platforms including GitHub. Understanding identity and access management technologies including Keycloak, SSO, API Keys, and Multi-Factor Authentication. Experience with Angular framework and modern front-end development practices.
