The “R&D Graduate Programme” is a 24-month structured graduate development programme in the R&D function. The programme rotates on a 6-month rotating assignment basis in order to learn and develop the basic knowledge and skills in the various engineering areas of expertise. The position rotates on a 6 monthly assignment basis: Design Advanced Operations / Research and Technology Development Advanced Quality Engineering Engineering Services (CAD/Prototype/Test Lab) What Are We Looking For? During each rotational assignment participants will be responsible for: Software: Translating user needs to design inputs/specifications and producing component and sub-system level designs. Owning the design, implementation, and testing of software modules, and performing associated software development tasks (configuration management, issue/bug tracking, and risk management). Using version control to keep an easily traceable and documented history of development. Using standard software methodologies to ensure code is readable, understandable and maintainable. Investigation, design, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology. Handover of new processes from development to production. Debugging and correcting design issues using independent judgment. Independently balancing design trade-offs while designing a component of the system. What You Need? Candidates must have already attained or be on course to attain a 2.1 result in a Level 8 or above Software/ Computer Engineering Engineering course or related discipline. Candidates must have/will have attained the above between June 2025 and Sept 2027 . Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The individual should enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic and results orientated team environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-functionally and with global teams.
