Quality Assurance Analyst II

Develops test strategies for internal systems and applications, incorporating lessons learned from previous projects and leveraging industry best practices. Under general supervision, plans and executes testing activities, including functional, regression, and performance testing, ensuring that test cases align with project requirements and are executed efficiently. Communicates within the department to actively participate in requirement-gathering sessions, contributing insights to enhance the quality of system and application requirements. Delivers timely and detailed feedback to developers on potential changes, actively participating in defect management processes, and working towards efficient resolution of identified issues. Develops and maintains automated test scripts, where applicable, to increase testing efficiency, subsequently collaborating with automation engineers to enhance the automated testing framework. Under general supervision, contributes to performance testing efforts, working with performance engineers to identify and address system bottlenecks and performance-related issues. Controls the enhancement of documentation practices by contributing to the improvement of test plans, test cases, and test execution reports, ensuring clarity and completeness. Analyzes and communicates project risks associated with testing activities, actively participating in risk mitigation strategies to ensure the quality of delivered software. Applies in-depth knowledge to mentor less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and insights gained through practical testing experiences, and contributing to the overall growth of the quality assurance team. Developing technical role involving addressing semi-complex, non-routine problems with limited supervision. The role applies technical knowledge to develop innovative solutions and improve outcomes. Responsibilities include analyzing multifaceted issues, considering various factors, and applying advanced problem solving methods. Role communicates detailed insights and guidance across the organization. Colleague is expected to manage semi-complex assignments independently. A university degree or equivalent experience is required.
