Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future. Department Overview The Rapid Prototype Center is our hands-on innovation hub that bridges digital design and physical hardware. We collaborate directly with engineering teams to test, refine, and build next-generation products using 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, and advanced finishing techniques. Job Description This is an internship role in support of the Rapid Prototype Center. In the rapid prototype center specialist role, the intern would work with the engineering teams in developing the models utilized in future products using 3D printing technologies. Opportunities to learn 3D CAD modeling, CNC machining, laser cutting, project management and spray finishing. Projects can vary from part concepts to reworking existing products. Projects will be quick turn around, hands on, with exposure to various techniques. Desired Requirements: Possess analytical/problem-solving skills, and the ability to use statistical tools and techniques. Able to solve challenging problems involving testing, planning, and implementation of new methods. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of common office tools (i.e Excel, Word, etc). #LI-JM2 Basic Requirements Working towards a Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering.
