The Radiation Therapist Assistant helps prepare and transport patients receiving radiation treatment at South Georgia Center for Cancer Care. This is a PRN opportunity with no guaranteed hours. Responsibilities Complete basic patient assessments, provide instructions, and help educate patients about what to expect Safely wheel patients to and from treatment areas and assist with lifting them to and from treatment tables Observe patients in care areas, attend to their comfort, and report any changes in pain or condition to the medical staff Prepare treatment rooms before procedures and clean them afterward to keep room turnover fast and efficient Help set up tables and create molds or masks during CT simulation procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications 1-3 years of experience, preferred High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred Experience working in a radiation therapy clinic, preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed What is expected of you and others at this level Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution Refers to policies and past practices for guidance Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems Anticipated hourly range: $17.10 per hour - $24.40 per hour Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws Application window anticipated to close: 12/07/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.
