What you'll Do Build and improve image compositing and display systems in C++ to expand Photoshop performance and capabilities Profile and optimize C++ code to ensure optimal performance Plan and deliver architectural improvements that help our users Collaborate with technology and platform teams Write and review engineering documents and design specs Ensure quality in all phases of development, which includes expanding automated quality and performance testing and driving test plans Adopt, advocate for, and expand the application of AI tooling in daily development practices Who you are A clear communicator who adapts to different audiences A pragmatist who cuts through complexity and moves toward solutions A humble teammate who leaves ego at the door and makes the right call for the customer and the team An innovator who embraces new approaches and adapts quickly to changing circumstances What you need to succeed A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 5+ years developing advanced C++ applications An understanding of image processing and rendering systems Experience with desktop profiling tools Ability to understand and articulate the impact of your work on users Hands-on knowledge of Adobe products is desired Game engine experience is a plus About Adobe Adobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences. Expected Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 - $257,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
