As a PACKAGING OPERATOR III you will have will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties: Operating automated assembly machines to pack out products Maintaining quality standards and safety standards Utilizing 3M Computer systems to track production and packaging cycles Maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performance Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws. Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start) Work Rotating Shifts, Overtime, Extended Hours, Weekends, Holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage Minimum two (2) months of operating production machinery or CNC equipment in a private public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Basic computer knowledge 6 months to 1 year of experience working with production machinery or CNC equipment. Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
