Key Responsibilities & Experience Range: This role is for a Full Stack Java/J2EE hands developer with a minimum of Bachelor’s degree and very strong Core Java & Database skills. Candidate will be working as Individual Contributor as well as technical leadership for small highly technical product delivery team in building and maintaining the trading / post-trading solutions proven software development experience in developing applications in large Enterprise environment and responsible for development & support. This involves integration, native cloud development, reporting & analytics, modern CI/CD implementation, test automation and application support activities. Candidate must have knowledge of Trade Life Cycle. FX Trade is preferred. Prior experience on working on FX or equity eTrading platforms is a big plus Must Extensively worked on performance-critical, low-latency and high-throughput, multithreaded, even-driven systems developed using Core Java technologies and able to demonstrate the same through modern coding practices. The candidate must demonstrate the strategic thinking and innovative approach of problem solving. Should have the ability to connect the dots in complex technology environment Ability to drive and own architect/design/development/testing/support activities by effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders globally. Provide advanced technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule Experience in modern engineering practices like Dockers, Kubernetes, native cloud development on AWS is a plus Can effectively apply AI capabilities in SDLC and business processes Understand the value of AI in enabling business and technology Primary Skills (Must Have): 15-18 years of related technology and domain experience with technology degree from reputed Engineering college. Technology Experience: Prior experience on working on FX eTrading platforms which have low latency, high-frequency messaging and high throughput requirements, previously worked on high-frequency Algorithmic Trading platform for Equities is a big plus Must Extensively worked on performance-critical, low-latency and high-throughput, multithreaded, even-driven systems developed using Core Java technologies and able to demonstrate the same through modern coding practices. Ability to write highly efficient code using modern best practices Experience and expertise in managing technology frameworks like Java Spring, Oracle, integration frameworks like Kafka/MQ/JMS. Extensively worked on performance-critical, low-latency and high-throughput, multithreaded systems developed using Core Java technologies. Ability to drive architect/design/development/testing/support activities by effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders globally. Should have very good understanding of approaches to architecture – Micro Services, design patterns, systems integration approaches, infrastructural dependencies. Should have good understanding and experience of DevOps, Native Cloud computing and the emerging technologies. Working experience in distributed, fault tolerant, highly available applications. Hands on development experience in developing & maintaining end-to-end enterprise applications, working closely with product & dev teams across geographical locations. Strong Core Java, Webservices, Database design and modeling in J2EE environment. Good Exposure to client-side web application development – JavaScript, React.js, Angular JS, JQuery, CSS Experience with designing JMS MOM systems like rabbit MQ/Sonic MQ/ Active MQ Working knowledge of multi-threading, Concurrency, secure coding principles and web security concerns, Database development including SQL, PL/SQL, and ORM tools like Hibernate Spring MVC, Boot, ORM Test driven development using junit, mockito/any mocking frameworks Strong Experience working in Agile and Experience developing with CI CD Experience in modern engineering practices like Dockers, desktop container, native cloud development in AWS/Azure/GC Experience in in implementing CI/CD practices with exposure to technologies like Jenkins, Dockers. Retain accountability for the overall delivery Demonstrated experience developing server-side Java code for a web application in an Enterprise environment utilizing a popular J2EE application server including Websphere, Tomcat Demonstrated experience with database development using Oracle, Postgress including SQL, PLSQL, and ORM tools like Hibernate or ibatis Qualified developers should have solid working knowledge of Spring, Java APIs like JMS and JTA, Multi-threading, secure coding principles and web security concerns, web services and other common open source libraries Strong Java 1.8 core features such as functional programming, RxJava and Lambda Technical team management skills to lead technology teams with varied technology and functional delivery Ability to own the end-to-end (Build, Change, Support) responsibility and accountability for all delivery Solid communication skills in all aspects (written, oral) Analyzes, designs, estimates, develops and supports software programs to meet project schedule. Solid analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to learn new technologies. Should be able to understand the big picture and have leadership acumen Should have working experience in Agile development environment.
