Job Requisition ID # 26WD100993 Position Overview As an Intern Product Manager for Identity & Access Management (IAM), you’ll get hands-on exposure to the authentication and authorization services that power every Autodesk product for humans, non-human identities, agents, and devices. You’ll work alongside experienced product managers and cross-functional partners to learn how a foundational platform team builds trust and security at Autodesk’s scale. This internship is designed to give you a real-world foundation in product management within a high-impact, fast-moving platform team.IAM sits at the center of how Autodesk secures access across cloud, desktop, AI, and ecosystem workflows, including emerging areas such as non-person identities, agentic access, and service-account governance for third-party integrations. As an intern, you’ll contribute meaningfully to this mission by supporting product research, contributing to requirements, participating in team rituals, and developing your PM skills in an environment that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. On-site in-person recruitment drive starts from 9 October - 6 November 2026 Responsibilities Explore and experiment with emerging PM practices shaped by AI, including AI-assisted user research synthesis, automated metric monitoring, and prompt-driven competitive analysis, and bring your findings back to the team Be part of the live evolution of identity for the AI era. IAM is directly enabling new models for non-human identities, agentic access, and service-account governance, meaning you’ll contribute to a product that is itself shaping how AI agents and automated systems are authenticated and authorized across the company Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and team members to contribute to the delivery of features that meet customer requirements; contribute to Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) Understand product positioning and key IAM capabilities (authentication, authorization, and service accounts), and support internal communications by articulating product value and developer/customer workflows to stakeholders Build foundational knowledge of IAM services and strive to develop subject matter expertise in a defined set of use cases Participate in customer research activities led by the team to develop an understanding of user personas, pain points, and potential solutions within IAM Support senior PMs in communicating product updates to stakeholders through clear and timely written and verbal communication Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Design, or a related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028 Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to teammates and stakeholders Internship duration: 11 January–25 June 2027; six months, full-time (fixed dates) Preferred Qualifications Curiosity about and familiarity with AI tools, along with an eagerness to explore how they can make product teams more effective Analytical mindset with an interest in learning how to synthesize information from multiple sources to inform product decisions Collaborative team player who is comfortable working across functions with engineers, designers, and business partners Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward seeking guidance and confirmation before making adjustments Interest in platform products, developer tooling, licensing, or enterprise SaaS is a plus Learning Benefits Gain hands-on experience in product management for a foundational, high-impact identity and access platform used across every Autodesk product Learn how modern product teams incorporate AI tools into research, requirements, and decision-making Build exposure to authentication, authorization, and service-account/non-human-identity concepts shaping the next generation of secure, agentic access Work directly with senior PMs, engineers, architects, and designers as part of a cross-functional platform team Develop foundational skills in writing PRDs, conducting customer and partner research, and communicating product value to stakeholders #LI-AA1 Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk!
