Job Description & Summary We are seeking a driven Senior Associate – Market Risk & ALM to join our Financial Services & Treasury Advisory practice. This is a client-facing delivery role focused on supporting banks, NBFCs, insurance companies and corporate treasury functions across market risk, asset and liability management, liquidity risk, treasury operations and regulatory transformation. The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience in treasury products, market risk measurement, ALM, financial-instrument valuation, Basel requirements and risk analytics. The role requires a professional who can combine sound risk-domain knowledge with strong analytical, problem-solving and consulting skills. The candidate will execute assigned workstreams, analyse financial and risk data, prepare client-ready deliverables, coordinate with stakeholders and contribute to high-quality engagement delivery. Responsibilities Market Risk & ALM Delivery: Support engagements across market risk, asset and liability management, liquidity risk, interest-rate risk and treasury transformation. Treasury Products & Markets: Analyse spot and derivative products across foreign exchange, interest rates, equities and commodities, including relevant product features, cash flows and risk drivers. Valuation & Risk Measurement: Assist with valuation, independent price verification, market-data assessment and risk measurement for OTC, derivative and structured products. Regulatory & Basel Support: Apply working knowledge of Basel requirements and related areas such as market risk, counterparty credit risk, CVA/DVA, capital requirements and regulatory reporting. ALM & Liquidity Analytics: Support gap analysis, behavioural assumptions, stress testing, limit monitoring, liquidity-risk analysis, IRRBB assessment and management reporting. Financial Modelling & FTP: Contribute to financial modelling, funds transfer pricing, scenario analysis and quantitative assessments under the guidance of senior team members. Treasury Operating Model: Review front-office, middle-office and back-office processes, policies, controls and procedures; identify gaps and document practical recommendations. Engagement Execution: Prepare working papers, analytical outputs, process documentation, presentations and client-ready deliverables with appropriate quality checks and supporting evidence. Stakeholder Coordination: Work with client stakeholders and internal teams to track requirements, issues, dependencies, timelines and engagement actions. Team Contribution: Guide junior team members on assigned activities and contribute to proposals, knowledge initiatives, solution development and reusable analytical templates. Mandatory Skill Sets 3–6 years of relevant experience in market risk, treasury risk, ALM, liquidity risk, valuation, regulatory reporting, risk advisory or treasury operations. Good understanding of treasury products and spot and derivative markets across foreign exchange, interest rates, equities and commodities. Working knowledge of market risk concepts and measures such as sensitivities, Value at Risk, stress testing, back-testing, limit monitoring and risk reporting. Understanding of ALM, liquidity risk, interest-rate risk in the banking book, behavioural assumptions, gap reporting and funds transfer pricing. Knowledge of Basel requirements and related areas such as market risk, counterparty credit risk, CVA/DVA and capital or regulatory reporting. Understanding of front-office, middle-office and back-office treasury processes, controls and operating procedures. Ability to perform structured analysis, interpret data, identify issues and prepare clear documentation and recommendations. Good written and verbal communication skills, with experience contributing to client discussions, presentations and project deliverables. Ability to manage assigned workstreams, meet timelines, collaborate across teams and maintain attention to detail. Preferred Skill Sets Good-to-Haves: Prior experience in a Big 4 firm, consulting organisation, bank, NBFC, insurance company, corporate treasury or specialist risk advisory firm. Experience supporting market risk, ALM, liquidity risk, IRRBB, treasury transformation, valuation or regulatory remediation engagements. Exposure to treasury or valuation platforms such as Bloomberg, Reuters/LSEG, Murex, Kondor, Calypso or similar tools. Experience with Excel-based modelling and analytical tools such as SQL, Python, R or VBA. Exposure to market-risk models, valuation controls, independent price verification, model validation or quantitative risk analytics. Understanding of enterprise risk management and the integration of market, liquidity, counterparty and treasury risks. Relevant certifications or advanced learning in financial risk management, treasury, market risk, ALM, quantitative finance or related areas would be an advantage. Years of Experience Required 3–6 years Education Qualification CA, MBA/PGDM, or a postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
