Make a real impact In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team in Athens. Collaborate with data engineers, visualization specialists, and business analysts to solve complex problems for clients and internal teams in Greece and abroad Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions Analyze source data to identify relationships, hierarchies, patterns, and trends Define solution architecture and select the appropriate technologies and components Design ETL/ELT workflows using available data platform services and tools Develop and optimize data models Document findings and share best practices with colleagues and clients What you bring matters Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or a related field Knowledge of banking, accounting, and financial services is considered a plus At least 4 years of proven experience in this field is required Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python syntax Understanding of complex data flows through dedicated integration and orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks is required Knowledge of modern data tools such as dlt, Stitch, dbt, SQLMesh, Airflow, or Dagster is considered a plus Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is preferred Working experience with large datasets is considered a plus Familiarity with logical and conceptual data models Exposure to streaming or real-time data processing is considered a plus Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar tools is considered a plus An Azure Data Engineer certificate (or equivalent) is considered a plus An Azure Solution Architect certificate (or equivalent) is considered a plus BRING YOUR BEST, EVERYDAY Your skills, integrity, and curiosity make the difference.
