Job Description As an Event Producer at Reuters Events, you will take ownership of producing world-class events across a portfolio of critical industries, including sustainable business, pharmaceuticals, energy, and artificial intelligence. You will build relationships with influential industry leaders, secure senior-level speakers and VIP attendees, and turn key market challenges and opportunities into compelling live experiences. Working closely with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional partners, you will help deliver intellectually rigorous events while driving strong commercial outcomes. This is an opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility within a fast-growing, collaborative, and diverse team, while contributing to conversations that shape industries and the communities they serve. Key Responsibilities In this opportunity as an Event Producer, you will: Produce World-Class Events: Develop and deliver compelling event experiences that address the most important challenges and opportunities within critical industries. Build Industry Relationships: Establish strong relationships with senior decision-makers, industry leaders, and influential figures to secure high-level speakers and VIP attendees. Develop Engaging Content: Translate complex industry topics into relevant, insightful, and commercially compelling event programs. Manage Event Portfolios: Oversee multiple events throughout the year, ensuring priorities, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to align execution and deliver successful events. Drive Commercial Outcomes: Partner with sales and marketing colleagues to support audience growth, customer engagement, and the commercial success of each event. Maintain High Standards: Ensure every event reflects the intellectual excellence, quality, and professionalism associated with Reuters Events. Required Qualifications You’re a fit for the role of Event Producer if you have the following required qualifications: A university degree in any discipline. Previous experience supporting, coordinating, or producing events. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholder groups simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively in person, by email, and over the phone. Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to communicate with colleagues, clients, senior executives, speakers, and other key stakeholders. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering work to a high standard. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking ownership of individual responsibilities and outcomes. Preferred Qualifications Experience producing conferences, executive-level events, or content-led business events. Experience engaging with senior executives, industry leaders, speakers, or VIP stakeholders. Exposure to industries such as sustainable business, pharmaceuticals, energy, or artificial intelligence. Experience partnering with sales and marketing teams to support commercial goals. Demonstrated interest in global business, emerging industry trends, and the issues influencing senior-level decision-makers. #LI-JA1 What’s in it For You?
