As a Deals Capital Markets - Experienced Associate, you will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational business events that may impact an organization's value. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will navigate complex transactions and maximize value in business deals within our Deals practice. Responsibilities - Providing strategic guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and other transformational business events - Advising clients on complex transaction structures and capital markets topics to maximize value in business deals - Navigating diverse client engagements and adapting to varying challenges and scopes - Applying a learning mindset to develop technical skills and commercial awareness - Collaborating with team members to deliver quality work that drives client success - Utilizing financial modeling and accounting advisory skills to support capital markets transactions - Engaging in project coordination and management to validate timely delivery of client solutions - Analyzing market trends and regulatory guidelines to inform strategic recommendations - Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice - Understanding the importance of responsible Information Management, including Information Security and Data Protection - Ensuring correct Information Security Management practices What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 1+ years of experience - Current pursuit of or a Certified Public Accountant License - Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Coursework and/or a concentration in valuation methods, Other fields of study that provide a solid foundation for understanding how manufacturing and production facilities create products may be considered - Demonstrating proficiency in accounting advisory and modeling - Utilizing Alteryx for automation and data analysis - Engaging in capital markets transactions and debt raising - Applying knowledge of GAAP and IFRS conversions - Coordinating projects within a fast-paced environment - Developing skills in IPO preparation and regulatory reporting All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment at PwC without regard to ethnicity; creed; color; religion; national origin; age; disability; neurodiversity; sexual orientation; gender identity or expression; marital status; or any other status protected by law.
