Job Description We are looking for an exceptional Configuration Management Engineer, to work in a team supporting a world-class multi-million-line product, supporting an engineering team of hundreds of engineers, and managing a build/test infrastructure spanning thousands of lines of infrastructure code, thousands of machines and millions of tests. Having working experience in Configuration Management of large projects (large code and test bases, multi-sited, hundreds of users) Exposure to one or more of Perforce/git/Mercurial/CVS/RCS/ClearCase as an admin Expertise on build tools and SCM processes. - Scripting skills at the level of an expert Using one or more of Shells/Python/Perl. - UNIX expertise – as user and (preferably) admin Additional Job Description Additionally, we would be delighted if our person has these additional skills/experience Exposure/expertise in HTML, CSS, Java script (&Frameworks) and AJAX Understanding/use of Relational and Flat Database systems (MySQL/Mongo/Cassandra) Exposure to tools such as Coverity, Valgrind, Purify, Quantify, gcov, gprof, Sanitizers Soft skills: - Excellent problem-solving skills - Good communication skills (verbal/written) - Ability to work/collaborate in a team and with people/teams - Ability to multi-task between complex projects and operational requests - Aptitude to learn new technologies rapidly Education: BTech / M.
