Associate Global Trade Control Specialist Company: Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Business is looking for an Associate Global Trade Control Specialist (Level 2) to join our team in Hialeah, FL . Global Trade Compliance Department is responsible for managing, supporting, enforcing programs, policies, training and practices to ensure the company follows federal, state, local and international regulatory requirements. This position will be responsible for supporting some of these programs. Position Responsibilities: Assist with the review and update of existing policies and procedures for business; create and maintain support materials for Global Trade Compliance. Monitor and review export filings and reports generated by export compliance tools and through audit. Maintain records and draft reports related to corrective actions. Periodically audit HTS database. Perform audits for global Supply Chain transparency. Audit import entries and procedures, including verification of classification, valuation, country of origin, commercial invoice, documentation, and other government agency requirements; understand and ensure appropriate use of standard trade definitions most commonly used in international sales contracts. Conduct monthly Global Trade Awareness Training. Communicate pertinent product information to internal customers, as well as Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers, Suppliers and other functional groups. Apply continuous improvement for greater efficiency and cost savings. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 2+ years of total related work experience 1+ years of experience working with import and/or export regulations Experience Auditing in Aerospace Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with all levels of employees Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to travel 10% of the time - internationally and domestically This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
